Hello! My name is Emily. I live in a quiet village in Hampshire, surrounded by woodland and nature.
Through my paintings I try to capture the movement and colour of nature. While developing my skills at Peter Symonds College I soon found my passion for painting flowers with a 'splattered' effect. I continue to experiment with this style to the current day.
Inspired by both my surroundings and my Nan, I have developed a love for painting animals and flowers. In January 2017, a month after my Nan passed away, I started to develop my splattered technique and use other subjects in my work. It is from this that I started to create works of pets in watercolour. I wanted to use this technique to capture each animals individual personality.
